Introduction

Shareholders are the key supporter of ATFP. They contribute to strengthening its financing capacity and expanding its impact in promoting intra-Arab trade. Diversity of shareholders' base - comprising Arab governmental and non-governmental entities, regional and international financial institutions - reflects the established partnership and economic integration among member states, which ultimately contributes to achieving sustainable growth.

The ATFP's shareholder base comprises 49 institutions, with an authorized capital of USD 1 billion divided into 200,000 shares with a nominal value of USD 5,000 per share. The Arab Monetary Fund is the largest shareholder, followed by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, which emphasizes the strong institutional confidence in the ATFP's role as a leading regional platform for promoting trade and fostering economic development.
